There are many "dried" tomatoes on the market, "Sono Italiano"® takes particular pride in its TRUE Sun-Dried Tomatoes® which have been hand-processed, using special techniques originated in Italy well over 200 years ago.

We start with select tomatoes which are then dried slowly in the sun to preserve their exceptional flavor, texture, and heartiness. The entire process is done by hand under extreme, careful conditions. The end product is rich in color, an enhanced flavor, with a wonderful, meaty texture.

Even the packaging is special. Our Retail TRUE Sun-Dried Tomatoes® are packaged in a microwavable "boat" containing, in addition to 4 and 3 ounces of sun-dried tomatoes, a 25cc bottle of pure all-virgin oil with no cholesterol and are available in bulk 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 lb bag and box.
